Spillway Splashout was a Shoot-the-Chutes ride at the former Six Flags New Orleans, New Orleans, Lousiana.

HistoryEdit

Originally opened in 2000 as Spillway Splashoutat a new park called Jazzland. Six Flags took over the park's lease in 2002, changing the park's name to Six Flags New Orleans, but kept the ride name.

Shuttered since August 2005 due to severe flooding in the park as a result of Hurricane Katrina, the ride is now defunct. SOriginally opened in 2000 as Jocco's Mardi Gras Madness at a new park called Jazzland. Six Flags took over the park's lease in 2002, changing the park's name to Six Flags New Orleans, but kept the ride name. Shuttered since August 2005 due to severe flooding in the park as a result of Hurricane Katrina, the ride is now defunct. Spillway Splashout still stands at the park along with the Mega Zeph wooden roller coaster.
